SPECTRE 2026 will bring together, over two days, researchers, engineers, technicians, and students in acoustics and vibration to explore the latest scientific advances in Signal Processing applied to acoustic measurement (deep learning for sound zones, automatic segmentation of audio signals, etc.), as well as in Electroacoustics (corona-discharge transducers as ideal volume-velocity sound sources, active control of double-glazed windows, etc.), through a series of plenary presentations
The presentations will place a strong emphasis on the experimental implementations associated with these new techniques. The SPECTRE 2026 workshops, co-organized by the GTEA (Groupe Transducteurs ElectroAcoustiques) and EXACT (EXpérimentation en ACousTique) of the French Acoustical Society (SFA), will stand out for their experimental focus. A large part of the event will be dedicated to hands-on workshops open to participants, putting into practice some of the techniques presented during the plenary sessions.
